CASTING SPRUES WITH RESERVOIR
The ideal shape of flow results in a more homogeneous casting structure without cavities or shrinkholes. The al dente casting sprues “EM” with a sprue’s head diameter of 6–7–8 mm are used for precious metal alloys.
ADVANTAGES
1. Reshaping of the ball to its technically ideal shape of flow: the nozzle. This shape has the advantage that the alloy being injected swirls less.
2. Due to the tube diameter of 3 mm and the concave shape of the reservoir, an easy and metal-saving removal after casting is provided.
3. A more homogenous texture without cavities is the result.
4. Easiest waxing of the sticks by soaking the waxing stick. The aperture diameter of 3 mm and the concave shape of the reservoir on the waxing side assure good accessibility and thus enable metal economy and easy removal after casting.

AQUA Spacer can be easily removed from the die under running water. Thus solid ceramic crowns can be applied in the shortest space of time.
Another advantage: the characteristic colour of the ceramic is not affected by intensively coloured die spacers.
For the modellation we recommend the appropriate special separating fluid. When using other separating fluids the spacer can partially dissolve.
Attention: Do not use any other thinner than the ones recommended for the corresponding product – otherwise the special features of the spacers/liquids can no more be guaranteed.
